25th anniversary
5 POINT AG, maker of teamspace, celebrates its 25th anniversary.
On 25 June 1999, Martin Fischer and Thorsten Lenk founded 5 POINT AG with the mission to analyse and improve internal business processes. In 2002 the company pivoted to a product that would later be called teamspace classic — a cooperation tool that gave companies secure data storage and easy sharing among employees, years before Dropbox or Google Calendar. When the big players started giving away their solutions for free, 5 POINT AG pivoted again to process-oriented solutions and launched projectfacts. Today’s teamspace ships best practices for different industries.
25 years on, the company still pursues the same mission with its two products, projectfacts and teamspace. More than 10,000 users worldwide digitalise, optimise and connect their processes with it — time tracking, CRM, project management, tickets and more.
The team of about 20 — many with more than a decade at the company — celebrated in several ways: anniversary-branded company clothing, photo shoots, a dinner together and a sunny weekend in Lindau on Lake Constance with good food, boat rides and great conversations. The IHK chamber of commerce congratulated managing director Thorsten Lenk with an official certificate.
