Changelog: Spring release 2024

The new teamspace version brings DATEV connectivity, project-finance planning and controlling, split time entries and modular quotes.

Highlights of the new teamspace version

  • DATEV connection — many companies use DATEV to hand over financial data to the tax adviser. The new interface lets you transmit invoices and cost items including receipt images directly to DATEV — no export needed.
  • Project-finance planning and controlling — use base values to compare originally planned expenditure with placed orders and actual incoming invoices. Project plan data can be synced from the order.
  • Split time entries — for customer time quotas that bill differently: when an entry would exceed the quota, it splits automatically. One part fills the quota, the second part falls into the next billing pot.
  • Modular quotes — formattable building blocks via text templates, flexibly integrated into documents. Make quotes more appealing with extra text and image elements.

  • Project times can be billed proportionally on limited order positions (time splitting at max values)

  • Interface to the signature service Scrive for sending documents for signing

  • Already-sent project budget alarms can auto-reactivate on budget changes
  • Ticket search massively accelerated
  • Quick search in lists and module search now handle multiple terms (wildcard search on individual words)
  • Times can be entered without a colon; arrow keys edit times
  • Custom fields of type “formatted text” can have longer, formatted suggestions
  • Articles can be merged in the article module
  • Payment entry on an invoice displays all involved currencies (document, transfer, house currency)
  • Project-time lists can show more order-position info (real order number on time positions)
  • Main-menu configuration also allows selecting tile content (widgets)
  • QM module documents can be published via the external portal
  • Project-time templates can be saved as bookmarks on the dashboard and shared
  • Purchase price in order-line items can be drawn from the order that triggered the purchase
  • Document templates can include a preset for the document name
  • The organisation detail manager now contains a list of project times
  • Full-text search in the header of finance position lists, extended to the description
  • Invoicing: size extensions get new position numbers based on the original (e.g. 100-a)
  • Payment status also available on incoming invoices
  • New: action to clean up orders (positions moved to a defined section)
  • “Remembered items” available on articles, finance positions and invoicing analysis
  • Organisations can have a separate dunning email address — added automatically as an extra dunning recipient
  • New “Region” field in employee data
  • The list of unbooked work days has active/passive filters for employee and user account
  • API: project custom fields can be read
  • API: ticket resolution can be read
  • API: QM documents and their PDFs can be read

Bug fixes

  • Clicking “Save” during address entry without closing the address modal failed to keep the new address — fixed
  • Popup dialogs sometimes re-centred when moved before first input — fixed
  • Various display glitches in Excel exports of lists
  • Not all required fields of a project type were highlighted in the “New project” dialog
  • Long absences entered as an interruption of an existing employment contract incorrectly flagged subsequent work days as non-work — fixed
  • Despite the permission, leave requests by colleagues were not visible to non-HR users — fixed
  • File-picker search unreliable — fixed
  • Weekly calendar navigation had issues with the last week of 2024
  • Menu notifications for the wiki module didn’t display titles correctly
  • Lead/customer/supplier filter in contact lists repaired
  • Open-item import issues fixed
  • Organisation and contact appointment lists filter by their contacts again
  • Recently used items from the sidebar could not be moved to the private pinboard — fixed
  • ABC and star priorities can be cleared again
  • API: custom fields inherited via the project structure could not be saved — fixed
  • “Dunning fee” field in invoices was incorrectly read-only in some cases
