How your monthly price comes together

The monthly price is made up of three components: the licence per active user, a flat hosting fee and optional support. You only pay for users who are actually working. When someone joins or leaves, the licence fee adjusts in the following month.

An example: a team of 20 people chooses the office edition with standard hosting and standard support. That works out at 380 € licence, 100 € hosting and around 83 € support, totalling 563 € per month. Skip support and you pay less; add premium and you pay more. There is also a one-time setup fee for the hosting.

What every edition already includes

Every edition includes all the features of its package, plus updates and new features without you having to book them separately. Support in German and English from Darmstadt is part of the basic package, available on working days from 8 am to 4 pm. Your data is held in an ISO 27001 certified data centre in Frankfurt am Main, with daily backups, encrypted transfer via TLS and encrypted storage (AES-256).

Optional extras include higher support plans with a guaranteed response time, standard hosting or running on your own infrastructure, onboarding workshops, data migration from legacy systems and custom interfaces.

Fair pricing, billed clearly

teamspace is billed per active user per month. Three editions cover the path from pure time tracking to complete business software, and each higher edition includes all the features of the lower one. Licences can be booked monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or annually; the prices shown are annual prices, and a surcharge of 10 to 20 percent applies for shorter terms. There is no setup fee for the licence, only a one-time setup fee for the hosting.

Frequently asked questions about pricing

How is billing handled?
Per active user per month. You can add or remove users at any time, and the bill adjusts automatically.
Is there a minimum number of licences?
The minimum order is one licence. teamspace is recommended from five users; below that, the shared data foundation usually does not yet pay off fully.
Is there a setup fee for the licence?
No, not for the licence itself. Hosting has a one-time setup fee (190 € to 1,000 €, depending on the plan).
What is the HR Quick Start?
An optional flat rate of 790 € with which we set up the HR package (light) for you. In a first session we review your employee lists together, then we set up the import, opening account balances and user groups without any effort on your side, and finish with acceptance and handover. That way you are productive quickly, without hourly consulting.
How do I find the right plan?
In a 15- to 30-minute call we review your requirements and recommend an edition, support plan and hosting model. You then receive a quote to review at your own pace, with no pressure and no automatic contract.
Can I see teamspace beforehand?
The first step is always a short call in which we clarify your requirements. After that, we set up a guided test environment on request. The help centre also offers a populated demo environment where you can click through teamspace with no obligation.
Are the light/office/enterprise editions cumulative?
Yes. A higher edition always includes all features of the lower edition plus the additional modules. You can upgrade at any time without losing anything: your data, accounts and settings stay, there is no migration and no second system. Start with the HR package (light) and add project management, billing or CRM later with an edition switch.
What happens if the user count changes during the year?
The licence fee adjusts monthly to your active user count. Hosting plans are tiered (up to 10/20/100/200 users); when you exceed a tier, you move into the next one automatically.
Who is the contracting partner?
The contracting partner is 5 POINT AG, headquartered in Darmstadt. Contract and data processing are governed by German law.
What contract terms are available and how do I cancel?
Licences can be booked with a monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or annual term. The prices shown are annual prices; a surcharge applies for shorter terms (+10% half-yearly, +15% quarterly, +20% monthly). Notice period: 3 months for an annual term, 1 month for a monthly term. Hosting prices are annual prices.
