teamspace

Cloud ERP: every business process in one platform.

Projects, time tracking, CRM, billing, tickets and collaboration, integrated in a cloud platform. Instead of a tool zoo and spreadsheet bridges, your data and reporting run end to end, without a lengthy ERP rollout.

What sets cloud ERP for mid-sized firms apart

teamspace combines the depth of an ERP with the flexibility of modern cloud software. Three properties that matter in daily use.

1

One data model for everything

Client, project, people, hour and invoice live in one system. No CSV export between CRM, project tool and accounting, no sync scripts.

2

Activate by module

Switch on exactly what you need today and add modules later without migration. Licence per active user per month, no minimum term.

3

Live quickly

No months-long rollout project. Base configuration in days, productive use in 4 to 6 weeks. Customer Success accompanies on request at a fixed price.

Why cloud ERP now

Classic ERP is too heavy, point tools too narrow.

Classic ERP systems are expensive to roll out, inflexible day to day, and demanding to operate. Point tools are live quickly but leave gaps between project, time, billing and CRM that are bridged with spreadsheets and manual work. Cloud ERP closes that gap.

  • Consistent numbers

Projects, hours and billing deliver the same values. No conflicting reports, no debate about definitions.

  • No media breaks

From lead to engagement, from project to invoice, from ticket to billing: all in one workflow, one click instead of three tools.

  • Transparency for leadership

Live dashboards for utilisation, margin, pipeline and cashflow. Numbers are current, not two weeks old.

Project management and resourcing

Planning, tasks, plan-actual comparison, capacity planning across projects. Scrum and Kanban boards just as well as classic work breakdown structures.

Point tools vs. integrated cloud ERP

The difference is not in the list of features, but in how they connect.

Feature Point tools with spreadsheet bridges teamspace cloud ERP
Data model CRM, project, time, accounting in separate systems, sync via CSV One shared data model, one client, one project, one ID, everywhere
Reporting Compiled monthly from spreadsheets, often two weeks old Live dashboards for utilisation, margin, pipeline, cashflow
Handovers Lead to project to invoice each manual, risk of typos A won opportunity becomes a project with budget and team in one click
Extending A new module means new software, new migration Activate a module, done, same data, same UX
Compliance Often US vendors, CLOUD Act risk Hosted in an ISO 27001 certified data centre in Frankfurt, EU processing, GoBD mode activatable
Time to value Months to first productive use, cost before impact First productive use in 4 to 6 weeks, per-user licence

What we mean by cloud ERP

For us cloud ERP is not just „classic ERP in the browser”. We mean an integrated business platform that combines the depth of an ERP with the flexibility of modern cloud software. At the core:

  • One data model: client, project, people, hour and invoice are connected in the same system, not spread across five tools.
  • Cloud based: no own operations, no server maintenance, always up to date.
  • Modular: what is active is what you use. You pay for what is active.
  • Understandable for business teams: no customising marathon by external consultants, but configuration by your teams.
  • Live fast: productive use in weeks, not months.

Three steering layers, one data set

A cloud ERP unfolds its value only when it does not just carry the day-to-day but also covers process steering and business steering on the same data. teamspace does exactly that:

  1. Operations, six core processes from sales through delivery to billing, cost control, customer care and workforce.
  2. Process steering, each process has its own KPIs, thresholds and ownership.
  3. Business steering, eight key KPIs compress the firm’s state into a management cockpit.

Moving from island tools to cloud ERP not only gains operational efficiency, it lays the basis for predictable, data-driven leadership. More on this on our pages about processes and business steering.

How a rollout typically runs

We start with a maturity assessment of your current processes and agree which modules go live first. Consulting, training and data migration run in clearly defined stages, each with measurable results. Your staff stay productive because context and data build up step by step instead of switching all at once.

Which modules to start with depends on industry and starting point. Typical orders:

  • Consultancies and IT service providers: time tracking → projects → invoicing → CRM.
  • Agencies: projects → time tracking → invoicing → service desk.
  • Architecture and engineering: time tracking → projects with HOAI phases → invoicing.

Which path fits your firm we sort out together in the requirements call, free and non-binding.

Frequently asked questions about cloud ERP

How is teamspace different from a classic ERP like SAP or Microsoft Dynamics?
Classic ERP systems are built for large enterprises, high standardisation needs and multi-year rollouts. teamspace is cloud ERP for mid-market professional services: faster to roll out, modular, and operable without your own IT team. We cover the core processes a project-based firm with 5 to 250 staff needs, without ending up in classic ERP complexity.
Do we have to roll out all modules at once?
No. You start with the areas where the biggest lever sits today, often time tracking and billing. Further modules follow step by step, without data migration. Configuration and data grow with you. Extending later is not a migration.
How safe is our data in cloud software?
teamspace runs in certified data centres in Frankfurt am Main, EU only. We operate in an ISO 27001 certified data centre, GDPR compliant, GoBD mode are part of the architecture. Contractual partner is the German 5 POINT AG, German law, no US CLOUD Act exposure.
Does teamspace integrate with our accounting?
Yes. DATEV export for invoicing and posting data, plus REST APIs for custom interfaces. Incoming invoices can be handed over via DATEV or API. You keep your existing financial accounting system and automate the bridge.
What does cloud ERP from teamspace cost?
Per active user per month, depending on the module package. No setup fee, no minimum term, cancellable monthly. The edition that fits your size and industry we discuss in a 15-minute call.
How long does rollout really take?
Base configuration in days. Data migration from existing systems is handled by our customer success team at a fixed price if requested. Most teams are productive within 4 to 6 weeks. A classic ERP rollout often takes 12 to 18 months.
