Extended functions for attendance times
New functions for attendance time tracking — categories per user group, delta values, automatic cost items and weekly closing.
New attendance-time features
- Restrict time categories to user groups
- Delta values for recorded times
- Auto-generate cost items for time categories
- Weekly closing for attendance times
Categories for attendance/absence times
Categories let you define types of attendance (“in office”, “home office”, “at customer”) or absence (“sick”, “on leave”, “vocational school”). At a glance you see where colleagues are working — or why they’re out.
Restrict categories to user groups
Many settings configurable per category: capture mode, accrual against the time account, break rules and more. You can restrict categories to specific groups — e.g. “vocational school” only for trainees, “at customer” only for sales and consulting.
Delta values
A fixed time amount (e.g. 15 minutes) is automatically added to or subtracted from the recorded time. Compensate set-up or commute time easily.
Working time legally starts when entering the premises. The walk to the desk, booting up and starting time tracking takes time — delta values credit a few minutes by default, no terminal required. Set-up times (e.g. donning special clothing before work) follow the same pattern.
Auto-generate cost items for categories
Attendance categories can produce cost items automatically — useful for night/holiday surcharges, commissions, etc. Custom rules let you generate items only for specific employees or when the recorded time exceeds a threshold.
Weekly closing for attendance times
Beyond monthly closing, the system supports a weekly closing for companies that want to lock times more frequently — configurable.
