New leave review for capacities

Project-heavy companies know the problem: leave season hits and projects get tight because too many team members are out. teamspace solves it via leave managers per capacity.

Leave managers for capacities

Since September 2022 each capacity can have one or more leave managers. They review incoming leave requests and approve or reject them. A review is triggered whenever an employee requests leave during a period in which they’re allocated to that capacity.

The leave manager receives an automatic notification and decides whether the leave creates a staffing bottleneck. With approval, the request flows on to HR for the final sign-off.

The review precedes approval. Beyond leave managers, other authorised user groups can review; multiple review stages are possible. Standard vs. validation checks are distinguished — only a validation check requires explicit consent for approval.
