teamspace

With Microsoft Single Sign-On your team members log in to teamspace with their Microsoft 365 account.

Microsoft Single Sign-On via Azure AD lets users sign in to teamspace with their Microsoft 365 account. That means fewer passwords, central user management and more security.

Concept

What is Microsoft Single Sign-On?

A Microsoft service that lets users access Microsoft apps and other cloud, on-premises or SaaS apps with one set of credentials. Your team members then only have to remember one password and enter their login details just once.

Benefits

What are the benefits of Single Sign-On?

Beyond a faster and simpler login, SSO offers a number of further benefits:

  • More productivity — one click takes your team to the central login screen for every important app in the Microsoft world and beyond.
  • More security — a single, central login avoids a glut of passwords and so reduces the security risk.
  • More IT efficiency — central user management keeps it clear who has which access, and granting or revoking roles and permissions becomes easier.

Setup

How do I set up Microsoft Single Sign-On in teamspace?

Note: Microsoft Single Sign-On is available for teamspace customers with standard or own hosting.

SSO login via Microsoft is offered on the central login screen. Microsoft Single Sign-On requires an active Microsoft 365 account, which you link with teamspace in the configuration. Go to the "General" area and choose the "Interfaces" menu item. First grant teamspace access to Microsoft Graph via the corresponding button in the action box, then map your employees to the matching system users via "Assign Azure AD users".

You can allow or enforce the use of SSO. With allow, employees decide for themselves whether to use SSO. With enforce, all employees must log in via SSO, and the classic login no longer works.
