Sent, viewed, accepted, declined, in negotiation. Status is updated automatically or manually.
Hit-rate per sales person, per industry, per deal size. Which quotes are won, which are not, and why?
Once a quote has been sent, the second sales phase begins: following up. Classically managed in Excel sheets or Outlook calendars — with the side effect that many quotes slip through without a single nudge. teamspace automates the process.
Per quote, the system configures reminders: 7 days after sending (polite first nudge), 21 days (ask about the decision), 60 days (set status to ‘lost’ if no response). Sales people receive notifications with the relevant context: client, deal size, content of the quote.
Out of the data the hit-rate emerges per sales person: how many of the quotes sent are accepted? Quarterly trend, comparison across industries and deal sizes. Loss-reason statistics (price, competition, timing, requirements) help the team learn.
Follow-up is part of lead management and the CRM software. From the lead, a quote is derived, follow-up scheduled automatically. On acceptance the order is created, the lead set to ‘won’.
